Preparation, procedure and anaesthesia
After an ophthalmological assessment, the procedure is carried out under eye-drop anaesthesia, on an outpatient basis, in a few minutes per eye. The major Turkish hubs have recent facilities.

Recovery often rapid, with passing discomfort in the first hours to days. Vision stabilises over a few weeks. The return flight, longer from Turkey, is planned after the postoperative check-up.
