Techniques

Preparation, procedure and anaesthesia

After a remote assessment and an on-site pre-operative work-up, the procedure is performed under general anaesthesia in a partner facility. A protective splint is generally put in place for a few days.

Aftercare, recovery and results

Swelling and bruising are usual in the first days, then recede. The splint is removed after a few days. The recovery time before the return flight, longer from Turkey, is taken into account when organising the stay.
